The Little Rays 'N' Stars Child Care Center is a State of Maryland licensed home-based daycare located in Clarksburg, MD and has been operational since 2012. The school is conveniently located minutes away from Exit 18 off of Interstate-270. The daycare location is adjacent to Wilson Wims Elementary School off of Snowden Farm Parkway at the Clarksburg Village community. Our business hours are from 7 AM-6:30 PM, Monday thru Friday.
Little Rays 'N' Stars is dedicated to provide high quality childcare services for children of ages 6 weeks through age six (Pre-K). Our mission is to enrich the lives of children by creating a curriculum-structured environment to facilitate educational practices. In addition, we set a standard to create a warm, nurturing and loving environment that encourages children to experience developmentally appropriate practice, personal interest, growth, cultural diversity and a lifelong love for learning.
The facility endorses a safe & secure environment with an advanced security & safety system, friendly teacher assistants, as well as the constant interaction with the childcare's director, Mrs. Shila Ray. Mrs. Ray is a Maryland State Department of Education licensed teacher, as well 90 hours certification holder. She has had eleven years of previous daycare experience as a lead teacher in daycare centers prior to opening her own home-based daycare service.
